Cirelli — Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC 2020
Grapes
Trebbiano is the most cultivated grapes in Italy, every region has its special Trebbiano; with this grapes are produced wines not very structured but with good aromas, not votated to ageing. Of course there’re very great exceptions. In Abruzzo the Trebbiano grows over the hills facing to the Adriatic Sea and on the relief within the region.
The DOC Trebbiano d’Abruzzo was been created in 1972; these wines have to be produced with not less than 85% of Abruzzo’s Trebbiano, Tuscany’s Trebbiano or Bombino Bianco.
There’re are also Trebbiano Superiore and Trebbiano Riserva, they’re different from basic Trebbiano for a lower yield and higher alcoholic rate.
